Serves as the Hospital's technical expert regarding the administration of the Hospital's computer systems, including identifying those areas and instances where further computer assistance would be desirable, and recommending computer equipment and software to align with the IT Strategic Plan. Directs the Hospital's current information technology (IT) functions ensuring: (a) the timely processing of data for Hospital administration, operational, and clinical purposes; (b) that user departments receive timely consultations with regard to resolving problems and solutions for their IT needs; and (c) that regulatory, capacity planning, security, and disaster recovery/business continuity are fully addressed.
